QUARRY
The Quarry Collection reimagines the furniture object as an excavated artifact. It utilizes a language of “Brutalist Humanism,” where the primitive weight of charcoal-stained wood and veined stone is refined through rigorous geometric interlocking. These pieces establish a visceral presence, functioning as architectural anchors.
The materiality is defined by a monochromatic interplay of charred timber, cold stone slabs, and translucent obsidian-like glass elements that capture and diffuse light through crystalline fractures. In the monolithic shelving and low-slung horizontal planes, the assembly prioritizes the “chiseled” edge and the honest expression of load-bearing volumes. This collection is a study in permanence, rejecting the ephemeral in favor of forms that feel as though they were unearthed rather than manufactured.
